Police Brief 06/23/09

By Brittany Shammas (Last updated: 06/22/09 11:34pm)

Three cars sustain damage in Lot 89

Three cars were reported damaged June 15 in Lot 89, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The three victims returned to the lot to find the windows of the vehicles — a white 1992 Pontiac Bonneville, a white 1990 Mazda and a black 2004 Grand Am — smashed, she said.

The owner of the Mazda reported his subwoofer system, valued at about $1,000, stolen.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.

That sucks. I woke up one morning to find my car outside my apartment had the back window smashed and my subwoofer system, also worth about $1,000, stolen. I feel bad for that person, it’s not like you have a spare $1,000 lying around to go buy another one.

Why do people keep taking things that don’t belong to them? Could be that they are TOO LAZY, to EARN it for themself and they end up doing the COWARDLY thing: taking what isn’t rightfully their’s all for themself, because they want it! What BRATS! They need to get a life! $1000,00 for a subwoofer is also a lot of money!$$$$$ Sorry to hear that this person’s music isn’t gonna sound the same. ;(

Year after year… cars in the outlying lots are broken into daily. But there is NEVER any mention that ANYONE is ever caught. Why is that? Why wouldn’t you stake out these high crime areas? Maybe patrol these areas would be a good idea. What do you think DPS?? Maybe a good idea to try and protect the property of those who pay your salaries?? Wow! I should have had a V-8!!

A blonde get’s in her car and notices her steering wheel, dashboard, and windshield is missing. She calls the police and reports a theft. When the police officer comes, he looks at the blonde who is crying and and says, “Ma’am…you’re sitting in the backseat…” (Gift back to you.)

Thank you

Look at the bright side, at least you will be saving yourself from going deaf!
