I feel slightly disheartened after reading this article. We are doing a lot of work for students. Health care reform, medical amnesty, free newspapers, free legal services, free blue books, concerts, finding ways to combat tuition … and yet I read this article claiming that we lavish ourselves with “vacations”.

We spent two days away from the university, and it was anything but “fun”. We had meetings and conferences from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening. We were required to attend all of them, and were given 15 minute breaks occasionally. There were no massages, no “vacation” activities. For students reading this, I hope you can see the witch hunt this has become.

	These are my personal views.

Typical college student ignorance!!! Have any of YOU been homeless? Stay in your insular little world of classes, drunken impregnation parties, and rioting..it’s easy to ignore the REAL world while you’re there! There are MANY homeless people within the state and across the country. While pissing and moaning about which numbers are correct and which aren’t,you fine young “scholars”(YUK YUK YUK!!) fail to understand that each “number“is a person. Sure, some are homeless due to their own choices, but most are honest and hardworking folks who had a job loss,a divorce,or mental problems.Bottom line…don’t be so self-righteously smug and disdainful of the homeless. It could be you one day!

MDis a Bobbie Williams retread!

	WMU 35
MSU 21

Not even close today. More “up the gut” to prove we can’t block.

More “give Nichols a try,” to prove why this kid isn’t playing at Oklahoma.

More DB failuer to prove we can’t recruit anyone for that position..and to prove just how bad MD is. remember, MD played DB and has spent more time “hands-on” with that position in the past few weeks. Result? Minnesota!!!

	The O line is bad
The DB’s are terrible.
The RB’s are hurt and inexperienced
The QB’s are young.
The D line : one player with fire: Worthy
The LB’s: same…one player with fire: Jones.

The rest, top to bottom..in uniform and out…with headsets and without:

	SUCK!!!!

	MD must go

Hey Big Time!

	I’m with you.
MD is like all the others in a long line of mediocre coaches who have come through MSU for one purpose; A Paycheck.

I have been very critical of that contract extension provided MD after last year. We paid more for what? How about paying for performance. This guy HAS NOT delivered..he won’t deliver.
MSU got suckered in again. For all the talk and all the bluster, MD and his collective staff are not ready for prime time. Not today, not tomorrow.

Look at Cincinnati. Undefeated…with MD’s recruits but not the staff. MD was even at Cinn., and what is Kelly’s record there.

End of story. Once again we could’ve had a quality coach and a quality staff. What did we get: a Bobbie Williams retread.

	Let the confusion reign

The fact that the MSU players and coaches would even entertain the idea of an upset possibility against WMU is disturbing and sends a strong message. This is, once again, an MSU football team in disarray. What MSU has demonstrated, Mr. Jones, week after week is certainly NOT Big Ten football.

WMU has the game film and will study it. MSU’s weaknesses in the secondary, the O line, and at the RB positions will be thoroughly exploited. The very obvious weaknesses in the MSU coaching staff will also be exploited. MSU will be outcoached, that’s for sure. Why disrupt a trend! The MSU coaching staff will demonstrate once again how woefully inadequate they are for any league and at any level. MD must go and when this game is over more of you will start to see the light, put down the koolaid cups, and step off the “MD is my football hero” bandwagon.

Look for a WMU smackdown of a pitiful display of Big Ten football today in E. Lansing.

They came..they saw..and they will conquer. Not because they are that good, but because MSU IS that bad!

Mr. Jones, a good kid and a quality player, needs to be reminded of the following quote:

“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog that matters.”

The MSU dog is a wimp; a beaten puppy.

	WMU 35
MSU 21

	The carnage continues.

	MD must Go!

I think we need to worry more about our goverments response to our economic problems then any flu or any war in the middle east. Too bad people are more worried about catching a football or baseball game then where all the tarp money is going. I think its time people
started to wake up and smell what the polititions are shoveling. They havent done much to get the job market back on track. The construction industry is dead here in NYC. So far been out of work for over a year and a half. they think they can ease our woes with extending unemployment bennys. What about health bennys and no i don’t want government health care. Just want a job where i can get benifits from. It would seem the only people
our government cares about are the CEOs with 6 figure incomes. I think we would have been better off if we were being governed by the Brits still. All that fighting to get away from one tyranist to be governed by another bunch of tyranist. Since when have we had a government for the people and by the people, I’ll tell you its been a really long time since
our government was for the people.

To the post “do not sound like assaults:” assault can occur with or without battery. It’s still assault. I hope to god you aren’t in law school. If you are thinking of going to law school, re-think your options.

Also, here’s a couple lessons to take from this:

1)don’t walk by yourself at 2am even if you think you can “hold your own.” We live in a city with 40,000 students, crime is going to happen. Don’t put yourself in a vulnerable position.

2)Avoid “verbal confrontations” with a car full of strangers at 2 in the morning. nothing good is going to come of it.

HOW DARE YOU say that about Sparty!!! Did you stop to think why he started the wave during the injury? It wasn’t to celebrate the fact someone was injured, it was to deter the crowd from the play. He obviously saw the situation going in a negative direction and did what he could to try and distract the crowd from the call and the injury. Sparty NEVER does things that make this school look bad or convey poor sportsmanship. If you are saying that is what he intended then you are obviously out of touch with this school and not a Spartan. Go back to learning jumping jacks, and leave writing to professionals you pretentious “dick.”

“Enthusiasm” of an SEC school? I was 11 years old when I went to the 1995 Independence Bowl in Louisiana. During the pre-game, our family had to go back to our car to finish tailgating because LSU fans were literally getting in our faces (most sporting tiger masks) screaming: “Tiger bait! Tiger bait!” and “F*** MSU, go back to Michigan!” It wasn’t just a couple people, it happened when we crossed many LSU tailgates. They were just as obnoxious in the game, and I recall my dad having to ask a few fans around us to “tone it down” because of their foul language and banter. So I guess if we should be as classy as an SEC school we should get in the faces of 11 year old children and harass them as well.

On another note, I was also at the Alamo Bowl in 2003 when we played Nebraska. The cornhuskers weren’t bad before the game, but once we got in the stadium they truly embarrassed themselves. I witnessed half a dozen of their fans being ejected from the game for being falling-over drunk and screaming obscenities while sitting a row behind families with children.

This is a problem that goes with ANY college team, regardless of what conference or team. It only takes a few drunk morons to ruin the fun for everyone.

So an uninformed opinion piece on the severity of H1N1 suddenly turns into an anti-government conspiracy theory rant?

What is this guy smoking? Putting swine or avian in front of the flu DOES make it worse because most humans will have no immunity to it.

Perhaps we should bring in a doctor to write opinion pieces on this. You know, someone that is actually educated on the subject?

Holy hell, is this guy butthurt.

Dunham’s humor is an interesting spin on the goofy stereotypes we live with every day.

I have not seen him make a joke about how “all Muslims are terrorists”, but I guess that shows your total lack of research on the subject. Achmed is a stereotype based upon our current predicaments in Modern Warfare.
